The campground is located in Treherne, just west of Vanzile Street. Clean washrooms with showers, play fort, playground structure with swings and proximity to Treherne Aquatic Centre, Treherne Museum and Bottle Buildings have all added to the popularity of this campground.
Due to a storm that came through the area on July 21, 2016 the cottonwood trees have all been removed in the center area of Cottonwood Park. All sites have been cleaned up and everything has been reopened.
Cottonwood Campground has two areas for camping. Cottonwood Park is the area with the washrooms and playground structures. Basswood Bay was built in 2005 and provides full service with 30 amp electricity, water and sewer.
Wi-Fi hot spot located by the playground at the Cottonwood Campground provided by the SunRise Credit Union and the Municipality of Norfolk Treherne.
2016 Rates range from $25.00 to $32.00 per day, these amounts include G.S.T.
