

MUNICIPAL INFORMATION
Welcome to the municipal office for the Rural Municipality of South Norfolk. We are pleased to provide this website to you as a new way to communicate with our residents as well as promoting our municipality to the world.
Council meets on the second Tuesday of every month and the public is always welcome. We would appreciate that all delegations inform the municipal office before a meeting to ensure that we can schedule you on the agenda.

Water Readings
Water readings are due the first week in January, April, July and October. Call 723-2044, email: info@treherne.ca, mail or drop off your reading at the Municipal Office, 180 Broadway, Treherne, Manitoba, R0G 2V0.
Dog License
Dog Licenses are $10.00 each and are due in April of each year. You must have proof of rabies vaccination of your pet in the last two years to recieve a license. All dogs four months and over must be licensed. A limit of three dogs per residential unit. Every dog in the Town of Treherne must have a license.

Winter Hours - Sept. 1 to April 30
Wednesdays and Saturdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Fall Hours - Sept. 1 to Oct. 31
Wednesdays 11:30 am to 7:30 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summer Hours - May 1 to September 1
Wednesdays 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Saturdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Recycling Curbside Pick-up Program
Free curbside pick-up offered to all residents in the Town of Treherne. Recycables must be sorted and put out on the curb by 8:30 am every two weeks.
Building Permits
A building permit is a document that provides legal authorization to begin construction of a building project. Before you begin you need a Development Permit.
