NEW PHONE NUMBER FOR CAMPGROUND RESERVATIONS 723-5040 Cottonwood Campground is located in the Town of Treherne, just west of Vanzile Street. For years, campers have enjoyed the shade of the large cottonwood trees, and proximity to Treherne Aquatic Centre, Treherne Museum, and the Glass Bottle Buildings.
The campground opens to ball players on May Long weekend. Then to the general public after May long weekend, and closes early September, weather depending.

Payment for seasonal sites must be received by May 15th of the current year to hold the site.
Reservations: Only accepted with full payment.
Reservations for a Seasonal Site will be accepted January 1; all other bookings will be accepted after April 30 of the current year. When you call to make your reservation please have the following ready: ¨ Arrival and departure dates ¨ Your name, address and telephone number ¨ Type of camping unit ¨ Preferred campsite/ service ¨ Number of people in your party ¨ Visa or Mastercard
Check In/Check Out is 2:00 p.m. Seasonal renters may check in after the May Long Weekend and must check out the Monday following the second weekend in September.
Cancellations: You can cancel your reservation and collect a full refund on your camping fees (except for the $10.00 cancellation fee) if you cancel 4 or more days before your arrival date. If your cancellation occurs 3 days or less before the arrival date, your fees will be refunded except for the first night’s camping fee and the $10.00 reservation fee. Remember, if you don’t cancel your reservation or do not show up, all fees are forfeited.
Site Maintenance: Each occupant is responsible for maintaining a neat and clean site. Staff will mow and trim as is necessary to maintain the campground. Attempts will be made to set up an appropriate time for site maintenance with monthly/seasonal renters.
Site Occupancy: One camping unit (tent trailer, camper, camper truck, conversion van, motor home, etc...) shall be allowed on each campsite. If space allows, a tent may be set up on the campsite for the permit holder’s children that are under the age of 18. Dining tents are permitted if space allows.
Occupant’s Responsibilities: The registered occupant assumes all responsibility for the behaviour of and/or damages caused by their family members and/or guests.
Children: Children must be supervised at all times. Occupants are responsible for their children’s behaviour or any children left in their care. Uncontrolled, destructive behaviour will not be tolerated and may lead to eviction and/or banning from the campground.
Speed Limit/Safety: The speed limit within the campground is 15 km/hr unless otherwise posted.
Parking: Absolutely no parking is allowed along the roadway. Each site is provided with adequate space for one (1) vehicle in addition to the camping unit. Anyone parking in such a manor as to block the driveway of a neighbouring site or impeding the flow of traffic must move the vehicle IMMEDIATELY! Guests/visitors must park in designated parking areas.
Visitors: All visitors must leave the campground by 11:00 p.m. Visitors are asked to park on the south side of the entrance road, along the fence.
Picnic Tables: Only one picnic table per site.
Noise Level: Please remember the proximity of your neighbours. No excessive noise at any time. Quiet between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. After 11 p.m. please turn radios off and keep voices down.
Disturbances:
Any disturbance that intrudes on another camper is not permitted. This includes damaging property, fighting, screaming, playing loud music, using insulting or obscene language, drunkenness, etc.
Fireworks: All fireworks are prohibited.
Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages may be consumed only in the permit holder’s camping unit or on his/her assigned site, and in accordance with The Liquor Control Act.
Bicycles: All cyclists must use care and caution within the campground.
Cyclists must yield to pedestrians. Dirt Bikes and/or ATV’s:
Operation of dirt bikes and/or ATV’s are prohibited.
Scooters and Motorcycles: Motorized scooters and motorcycles must be licensed and insured, and operators must possess a valid driver’s license.
Pets: Pets are welcome. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. No pets allowed in any campground buildings or in/on play structures.
Water Usage: Water is for domestic use only.
Garbage Collection: Garbage collection will be on a regularly scheduled basis. All garbage must be placed in garbage bags and deposited at the designated garbage stations. Recycling bins are provided and we encourage everyone to recycle. Campfires: Firewood is provided. Fires are only permitted within the fire pits provided; moving fire pits is prohibited. Removal of fire wood from the campground is prohibited. Fire pits are not to be used to burn garbage.
Seasonal Refunds:
Given to seasonal renters only for certain Medical or Emergency reasons. Rent will be prorated using the current Annual Rate in effect at the time of failing to complete the term. Refund will require written proof of Emergency or Doctor’s Notice of Illness to the Town Office. Management may offset costs and charges against any refund to be paid.
Non-Seasonal Refunds: Refunds will not be given for occasional renters.
Personal Injury/Property: The Town of Treherne / Cottonwood Campground and the management shall not be liable for injury to persons or for property loss/damage.
Eviction: No refund will be given for the unused portion of the permit.
