PROGRAMS

 

The Treherne Aquatic Centre offers Red Cross Swimming lessons, including preschool, and Swim Kids Level 1 to Level 10.  Adult swimming lessons are also available.

 

Swim Preschool is a parented and unparented program offered in 7 different levels.  Children can start in this program at 6 months of age.  Children must be 6 years old to start Swim Kids.  

 

Also available are Red Cross Aquatic Leadership Courses:  Rookie/Ranger/Star, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross Courses.  Interested in pursuing leadership training towards becoming a future lifeguard or instructor?  Contact the Pool or Recreation Office for further information.

 

The Treherne Tiger Sharks competitive Swim Club was establied in 1999 and our members compete during July and August, our members range in age from 5 to 17 years old.

TREHERNE AQUATIC CENTRE - FACILITY UPGRADE

 

PHASE 1:  Was completed in 2006 and consists of a junior olympic swimming pool with beach front entry, lazy river, gysers, mushroom sprinkler.

 

PHASE 2: not started.   The installation of the water slide(s).

 

PHASE 3:  not started.  New shower building
